It has been to long!

It has been way to long since I have blogged. I really have no excuse besides that I just stopped. We lost our little dog Jack back in May and after that I really did not want to blog about that. Hodge always says that Jack is in heaven if you ask him and I like to think that my little dog is running and playing up there. He was a part of my life when I needed him the most. God knew I needed Jack at that point in my life and he was my little companion in Midland. I was newly married, working and had few friends in Midland so Jack was my special little friend during those times. As they say, "man's best friend" well Jack was this lady's best friend. I love you and miss you Jack!

We had a great summer and we have adjusted to our new home and new town. Hodge loves his school and his new teacher. He moved up to the 2 year old class about two weeks after he turned 2 on Aug. 5th. We celebrated Hodge 2nd birthday with family while we were all on vacation together at South Padre Island. I love SPI, I have been going there for years with my parents. I have many great memories and I love to spend time down there! Here are some photos from the summer.

On Hodge's birthday we started out with everyone going to the Sea Turtle, Inc to see the turtles that have been rescued.

We had all the cousins over for pizza and birthday cake back at our condo!

Just like his mommy, Hodge loves to have leftover birthday cake for breakfast! He had already had a real breakfast but wanted to have some cake as well!
