New Town, New School, New Job

We are moving to San Angelo! I have accepted the position as Executive Director of the Angelo State University Alumni Association. Matt is absolutely the best husband in the world because he can make this happen for me. He is going to continue to have his office in Midland and open an office in San Angelo so I can take this new challenge on in life. I started my new job January 4, and Hodge went to his new school that day as well.  I am working part-time right now because we will not close on our house until early February. Matt, Hodge and I have been going down to San Angelo a few days a week so I can work in the office and Matt can get things together for our move. Hodge has been doing really well at his new school. I can tell he is going to learn a lot from his new teacher and the kids in his class. Here are a few picture from our first day in San Angelo.

Matt taking Hodge into his new school the first day. They both have a look of fear.

Hodge was still not to sure about things. He had a good time and each day gets better and better. He even cried a little one day when I picked him up. He did not want to stop playing with his new friends.

I took this photo of the ASU LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center after my first day. My office is in this wonderful building!

On Tuesday Jan. 5 my friend from college, Becky, was in Odessa visiting her family so Hodge and I had lunch with her, her two older kids, her sister and her sweet niece.

Hodge had so much fun sliding down the slide with the girls!

  1. Hope things are going well. I know you are busy but you have to keep up your blog so we know what you are up to. Karmen announced you moved last night at the meeting and everyone was so sad. Good Luck with everything.
